I am going through the tutuorial in the Wiki:

Im stuck getting the door handle out. I have the three screws out and the handle is completely loose. How do I disconnect whatever attaches the long rod mechanism from the door itself? I just cant see inside enough to unclip or move the rod in the right direction.
