Only the gas cars. I only pay $36 a year to register my 300SD.....can't beat that. And my insurance for BOTH cars is under $1000 a year. So I don't really know where you're getting your numbers from.....I can register AND insure both of my MB's for under $1100 a year....that's pretty darn good! And it will only get lower as I get older and don't have the young driver surcharges....

Plus, we don't have to pay for or deal with yearly inspections here...well worth it IMHO.
