ok I just took off the rear door panel.
1) Remove the door lock knob, it unscrews.
2) remove the plastic piece at the top of the door handle, and there will be a 10mm bolt. Remove it.
3) this was tricky,
there is a plastic "latch" piece to the right, inside of this door handle opening
Press this while , wiggling the door panel, and it will come away from the door.
the are 2 plastic clips on the bottom and a few on the edges behind the panel. These are downward clips, not holes...the panel is pushed upward, not pulled outward. make sense?
as usual there is the metal rod, that hooks into the door lever.
the plastic clips on the door panel are glued to the panel and imo, are pretty much crap. Mine had come off and this door panel was sloppy when I started.
but if you finish step# 2-bolt, and then press the clip which alows the door handle assembly to popout of the door frame, then push upward and the clips will rise out of the holes. A lot of it is wiggling the door panel off.
Once you can see behind the panel it gets easier.
I found my regulator plastic piece broken and my motor good.
But its a back window, so I put in a jam-wood piece for now, and secured it with a hose -screw clamp, in the up position.
After putting the door panel back together, I noticed the old glued plastic clips were broken or unglued.
So I rounded up some small black sheet metal screw and put 4qty in the edges of the door frame. It looks fine, and is much more functional than the plastic.
I still need to revisit what I did on swapping the fuses around though? The windows are all working from re-seating a fuse? Maybe oxide build up prevented a good contact?
good luck
