Ok...I finally broke down and took my ML to the shop. I got a call a few minutes ago from the technician saying that they had narrowed the problem down to two things....

The Actuator motor switch(for the 4 wheel drive),

Or

The Air mass flow sensor. He said it was running rich..

So what does this mean? Is this going to be an expensive visit? He said that they wanted to check into it a little more before they made any changes. And of course it didnt do anything when they drove it...although it was in limp mode when I started to the shop this morning!

Any help or pricing would be tremendously appreciated.
