There is another vacuum hose to the transmission on my 190E 2.6 Gasoline motor? or are you talking about the vacuum hose that goes to the vacuum modulator on the left side of my 190E transmission, this is not a diesel engine.

Is not the shift selector the control lever inside the car [PRND32] that you use to go from park to drive etc.???
