I don't know that much about parvo beyond what I've seen on animal planet, but that's the kind of thing I'd be really paranoid about too. I'm always worried about feline leukemia or feline HIV with my cat, even though it's much less contagious than something like parvo.

Thanks for the input, I'll do just that and tell him I want to hold off. I've had experience with parvo first hand years back and NEVER want to go through that again. If I gave it to one of my dogs I would be devastated, it's a scary virus..
