i'll make this short:

leak came back !!!

bit the bullet and bought an upper radiator hose from the dealership.

it was slightly longer. it had a noticeably smaller inner diameter. it was harder to bend or squeeze than the others.

installed, filled, ran, no immediate leaks.

now the long term test starts.

this has been too much trouble!
