So I have an alignment problem - car steers hard to the right when braking. I take to the dealership and they quote me $1000 in repairs for the arm bushings, steering dampener etc. Am I getting screwed? I am not happy about this. It is a mercedes and has 100K on it but doesn't this seem excessive for a car built so well? They claim they cannot do an alignement without making these repairs. Any help would be appreciated.
