Yes they are worth the price. Bilstiens are "Install and forget" shocks. Meaning once you put them on it will be a very very very long time before you have to swap them out again.
KYB's will not last a year with the kind of rebound rates Eibachs will place on them. The higher end Koni sports are exceptional shocks and are about the same price as bilstiens . If I was looking for a cheap way out I would go with Sachs/Boge shocks.
