My engine is a 78 and the diagram is okay... BUT I don't quite understand the alda stuff side. there are ports on the top and sides.

attached is what I am looking at. what is X'd out I am removing/blocking.
what is circled is my issue. It shows what part the line goes to, but not which port on the specific part.
