ATF "Alternatives" for 722.6?

* BG fluid supposedly meets 236.10:

* Valvoline MaxLife supposedly "suitable" for 236.x:

* Valvoline MaxLife supposedly "suitable" for NAG-1 transmission (Mercedes-built 722.6 for Chrysler applications):

* Valvoline MaxLife supposedly shown in TSB as replacement:

I checked the back of a Valvoline MaxLife bottle and they recommend it for use where 3403 (Shell version of MB 722.6 fluid) is called for. I know this doesn't mean Valvoline submitted their fluid for certification by Mercedes, so I'm a little bit leery.

Also I see there is a new Mobil 1 type 134 fluid that meets the 236.10 spec, but I can't find this stuff anywhere (checked AutoZoo, O'Really, and Wally World).

I have not seen much discussion of alternatives to the dealer-supplied ATF here, so I am curious. What's the going rate for a quart of the "older" fluid recommended for the 722.6? Has anyone had success with the supposed alternatives?
