I've owned other Benzs' but never an SL. Just found one I want to buy, 98 sl500, one owner, full records, great shape.
It's 12 years old and has only approx. 50K miles on it. I'm arranging for a PPI and want to know of anything particular to look for in such a low milage car. Does anything get brittle/sticky if the car is not used much?
My present car, 89 3300CE, has about 220K and likes to work out. A couple of weeks without getting over 40mph and she runs rough.
Seems odd to worry about a car that may not have "enough" miles!
Any advice appreciated.
