I've been looking at a number of 300SD's from the mid 80's, but a 220D has piqued my interest. I know even less about this car than the 300's.

Is it roughly the same size as a 300D? Same platform I think?
Turbo? I'm thinking not.
Butt slow I'll bet, or maybe not with a 4 spd.
Could this car be daily driver realistically?
