Just for everyones info: Last week while in MD (1500 miles from home) my 300D stopped charging consistently. To make a long story short, I tracked it down to bad/corroded connections at the alternator. Fixing these connections solved the issue. So, don't overlook opening that connector and looking at those wire connections before you start buying parts.
