I have been going to a little salvage yard I recently found - amusing people own it, very old timesy.

Turns out the Cash For Clunkers program did us some good - the yards now have an increased stock of cars. Found a 560SEL, bumpers are perfect fit, very good shape, $200 for both front and rear and I'm very happy with that.

Problem solved, thread finished for me.
