lol. Thanks for that info. Obvioulsy no W140 owners think that since no one wants to trade for a nice and easy to maintain 6-cylinder W126.

Yeah, I know that that W140s are more troublesome cars... I just love the styling and willing to take a chance on one as long as it runs good. My uncle has a 1992 300SE that he had to have an evaporator and headgasket replaced on, but other than that, its been an excellent car... his dad bought it new and never had any other issues. I know some had that engine wiring harness issue as well on the pre 96 models, but oddly he said they have never had to replace the engine wiring harness and its never had a problem, but its a very early 1992 model (made in late 1991) and I read somewhere that the earliest W140s didnt have the wiring problem... I / they could be wrong though?

I just like the W140... it seems larger and more comfortable than the W126. I loved my uncles W140 when he let me drive it.... seemed like a whole different beast than my W126.

I dont know, I love my car, but needing a truck too, or like I said, a W140 and buy a beater truck. I may just try to trade it for a nice Toyota truck... then again, I may end up keeping this great car.
