Your correct, however my trans sometimes slams into gear when I am at full throttle.

APB, another thing to check is your circuit board for the trans: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=234219&highlight=fluid+722.6

It might take awhile for the trans to re-adapt, so don't expect immediate results unless you reset the adaption values.
