Once again, I was driving my 89 300sel when the check engine light came on. Then at idle, the idle would surge from idle to above 1500rpm. I went thru the process with the code unit...came up #4. Then I removed the fuse on the OVP and replaced...started car and no check engine light! no surge..everything running nicely. I am no electronic wizard but something is amiss. any suggestions?
