There is no "adjustability" on the OM60X series engine serpentine belt tensioners. The spring applies tension; the shock dampens movements of the tensioner. The serpentine belt R&R procedure is fairly straight forward and should not be very difficult if the procedure is followed. The squeaking if you’re certain is a belt issue rather than a tensioner pulley issue is an annoyance that would likely only be cured with a new belt of some type of belt dressing on its outside non-grooved surface. It the squeaking is the pulley the cure is a new pulley.
