It helped my flaring some. It didn't go away, but it was pretty bad before. If I accelerate at a moderate speed the shifting is pretty nice. But if I have my foot in it at all it will flare on the 3-4 shift pretty bad. The length of the shift rod off the throttle linkages will also change the shift timing and quality.
