Posts 8 & 9 are hogwash. The 85's vacuum system can be made as simple as the early cars in about 10 minutes. The only difference then would be the vacuum transducer which actually improves the shifting of the Auto. trans. The vacuum system in my car is ridiculously simple.

IMO... The engine still "screams" with the 2:88 rear end. More than I would like. Just find one with little or no rust that runs good and you're in there. Shop long and hard and you may find your "stick car" with manual A/C controls. I wish I would have looked a little harder.
