Oh my, I find it difficult to not add to this thread, but I think what will be even more difficult is to list everything I did do mechanically on my car.

Let me give this a whirl

Car is a 1985 190E 2.3L

I bought the car is 2002 with a bad case of the hesitation blues.

Fixed hesitation
Fixes power locks
Plugs, wires, cap (count this 2 or 3 times since I drive the car often)
02 Sensor
Coolant temp sensors
Rear rotors, pads, and calipers (There was a suspicion one was seizing)
Rear Wheel carrier
New Differential
New Half shafts (see thump thump wont go away no matter what thread, yes it's mine lol)
Flex discs (2X already)
Drive shaft (not replaced but installed correctly for once)
Drive shaft carrier and bearing
New Fuel lines
Fuel filter a few times now
e-brake shoes and rear dust shields.
Transmission overhaul (Yes I did it myself, I have pics to prove it $1100 worh of parts and tools, no machine shop time required)
Shifter bushings (The tranny was out, why not?)
Flywheel
Engine Overhaul made up of the following:
chain
chain tensioner
valve guides
valve springs
a few new valves too
All engine sleals, main front and back included
Head gasket
sprockets, all of them
Moving on
PS pump
Steering box
Alternator (don't tell me you didn't see it coming lol)
Water pump
Thermostat and housing
Cold start valve
Fuel injectors and seals
MAF
Ignition Coil
Front end rebuild:
barkes
rotors
balljoints (those are fun)
Coil Springs and shims
Control Arm bushings
Coil Spring perch (if fell off, had to weld it back in)
Sway bar bushings
and to finish off..
Sunroof cable
window motor here and there
Numerous electrical gremlins brought on by quick fixes with POs
Custom Alarm system with remote starter and remote locks (oh yeah)
Body work (rust, paint, running car into wall, someone keyd the right side etc etc)

I suppose I could go into more detail, can someone add all this up in labour hours? I lost track lol

None of the above would be possible without this forum and its dedicated members who have this disease called a passion for fixing these cars, which I myself suffer now from as well, if it's not obvious yet, but it beats not doing anything at all.

Cheers
