One of my youngest two decided, apparently, to use my glasses to clean the floor or some otherwise unsmooth surface.
One side isn't too bad, the other has some scratches right in the line of sight that don't seem to be
too deep. Obviously I won't get them completely out but I was hoping to get rid of the light hazing effect caused by most of the lighter scratches.
The real answer is to get new glasses made, and that is the plan. But my prescription is 1.5 yrs. old so they don't have it on file and Lenscrafters won't fill it. I've go travelling tomorrow and Wednesday so it'll be the end of the week before I can schedule and appt.
I tested a corner with 2000 grit wet sand paper and it's way too abrasive (out of the line of sight, though).
Any emergency ideas?
