I recently brought my 94 S420 into a state which requires front license plates. I don't have a front license plate bracket either installed on the bumper or laying around.

I really don't want to screw anything into the bumper (but if I must, I must)

Are there any creative fixes that people have come up with to install a front license plate onto the bumper area that does not necessitate the use of screws?

alternatively, if I must screw, do I need to worry about hitting anything behind the bumper?
