Or we could continue to squander $billions on a system that has a .000001% chance of working and if it got that good, it would cost a small fraction of our costs to develop evasive capabilities, which they've probably already done.
We freaked out about missiles in Cuba, but Russia should be good with missiles on their borders? Not the same kind of missiles but it's just more proof that we won't grant them the sort of respect that we demand.
