The belt is not slipping. This happened a week ago and still doesn't work.

I was driving in heavy rain with puddles. Car even hydroplaned a few times. There is not a cover on the bottom of this engine either. I think some thing got wet and failed.

There is pressure in the system, blower works, and no fuses blown.

I removed the connector on the compressor. Inspected, found dry, & reinstalled. I did notice bare wires going into the connector. The insulation has worn away. But I don't think this is the problem. This would probably cause a fuse to blow.

My service manual has a wiring diagram but it might be the wrong one. It is titled "Models 124.125/130/185/190/193/330/339 with automatic transmission as of August 1987"

My car is a 1995 Model 124.131. Anyone have the correct wiring diagram?
