Problem is fixed.

I insulated the bare wires on the compressor connector. A/C works fine. Temporary fix though. I used electrical tape.

The insulation on the wires is very brittle. It kept falling apart more and more as I wrapped electrical tape. Had to go back about 3 inches.

I really should replace the harness. I don't know anything about this. Is it just the harness for the A/C or the entire engine? Is it a difficult job?
