I don't know about the pantyhose deal. I think it will just dig into the plastic funnel. Doesn't sound like you have tried any of this fun stuff yourself. That boot is reaaaaly tight and is clamping on the funnel for all it's worth. Maybe if there were a slick stainless steel version of the funnel...?
