It should not be reused without cutting off the ends to expose fresh hose (the part that was attached to a nipple because the nipple expands the hose.
If the hose was long enough to begin with, reused Viton hose will fit fine, no leaks. Trouble is most lengths are short so that if you cut it off it is too short to reuse. I learned this the hard way.
