Well, it's always nice when Tyler is in Texas and fits a quick visit out my way into his schedule. Of course, it is often because he has some sort of MB candy for me.
Tyler and his "date" Julie {oh dear, I might be having a terminology mishap} dropped by this afternoon. I had to work until about 6:00 but raced home afterwards. I rounded the last corner in the road to my house and could see the distinctive properly round headlights of a W123 just in front of my driveway.

I had purchased the steel wheels in Tyler's great big giant parts thread, and can you get a better seller than one who will hand deliver the goods from Kansas to Texas? {OK, maybe Daw delivering to Michigan or wherever}
Well, wouldn't you know it started raining just before we all got there, so I gave Julie an umbrella and Tyler rigged up some kind of full body prophylactic.

I only wish I had gotten a closer up shot of Tyler and his rain wear, but he discarded it pretty quickly when the pics started.
We had a nice visit out in the garage while we watched it rain and enjoyed the swarm of mosquitoes.
My wife just had surgery Wednesday or we would have enjoyed a nice evening dinner with Tyler and Julie, but the visit was nice. I always enjoy seeing Ol' Turbo too, and his new sheepskins look AWESOME!!! Very nice quality it appears.
So, a nice visit, 5 steel wheels with lugs {for the white wagon}, a non-painted hubbie for China until I can run across a China Blue version and a good tire for the spare wheel. Quite an enjoyable evening I would say.
Come back anytime. The Bat Cave is always open......
