The 4 main bolts (2 in front and 2 in back) are 10mm. I just took the seats out of a parts car at the parts yard and am replacing my seats (slowly, I'm driving around with out a passenger seat right now
).
I can't imagine how one could fit vice grips into that area where the bolt head is. Maybe needle nose vices, but even then it would be tough.
