Moraine, thanks for the reply. I will look for plastic-safe epoxy. I had a feeling that I had to look for something that was safe for plastics in order to avoid a 4 year search for a new one

I have had a lot of experiences with various adhesives dissolving plastics, and I don't want to repeat the experience if I can avoid it at all.
