Its not that hard to fit the wiper system. You have to drill a 1/2" hole in the fender for the wiper motor shaft, get a washer tank with 2 pumps, make up a wiring harness (follow the UK wiring diagram in Haynes manual), and add squirter nozzles to the bumper.

The motor gets the signal to run when you have the headlight on and push the windshield squirter button. It will run by itself for 2 cycles, then turn off.
