Dome lights

Ah, I wasn't aware of the earlier, smaller size. The plain dome light that came in my '85 300D-T (W123, OM617) is larger than yours and is directly replaceable with the map light version. It's really nice to have an advanced factory part to replace a lesser factory part with no modifications required. Improves the car but only those in the know realize that it's not original. And since no cutting is required, it's also reversible. Reversible is always good, you might change your mind or sell the car to a new owner who wants it box-stock.
