Yes, Rotella is a Group III oil. Some of the UOA guys on TDIClub have noticed a sudden increase in wear when using this oil, they have speculated that the formulation has changed.

I use Mobil 1 in all my cars, and my friend's powerstroke when I change the oil for him. That thing holds 15 quarts of oil
