It must use a high capacity capacitor system. Like a camera flash. It then trickle-drains it with the LED for a life of 120 mins per charge. Interesting.
They have been working on similar technology for cars, pull in to a "charging station" plug in a big connector, wait 3-5 mins, and you're set for another 250-300 miles. That would be awesome. With a 240 or 480 volt charger you can move some serious juice pretty quick.
