In what may come as a surprise to people who know me, I voted yes. However, it is a very qualified yes. Teachers should be allowed to make their own political views known to their classes, but only if they clearly communicate that the views they express are their own personal opinion. This can be a productive thing at the high school and possibly junior high (or whatever they're calling it now) levels. Not so much in K-5 though.
