There is no "masterflow sensor" on these cars....sounds like what a person at autozone would say. They probably meant a "mass air flow sensor"....these cars do not have electronic injection.

Your issue sounds like a ignition or vacuum problem. The "economy gauge" is actually a vacuum gauge that shows the level of vacuum in the intake of the engine.

I would recommend bringing the car to a MB independent shop or dealer to be fixed properly if you are not familiar with working on cars. If you don't know what you're doing you will just cause more harm than good.

Adding slightly too much oil would not have hurt anything, but it is not good to overfill an engine.
