My S-10 has a rev/overspeed limiter on it...it kicks in at approx. 97mph...tried it just a few weeks ago...engine just shuts off until the speedo goes below 95mph, then re-engages and by that time, you better be slowing down...

I'm having a suspicious thought here...

What if this was a "suicide by CHP" whereas Mr. Saylor was just informed by the Mrs. that she's considering filing for divorce...he guns it and everyone in the vehicle is toast.

Just an evil thought...
