Well, I could easily allocate the time I spent browsing forums to building computers It only takes me about two days of testing, which isn't much more than start it, check up on it, and wait until it's done - then move on to the next test. The actual build time (active time requirement) is probably only about two hours, but, I'm fast

I don't mind mac's, my mother has an iMac and she loves it. My brother also has an iMac (it's kinda funny, the first thing he did was put linux on it ) I laughed when he didn't get it exactly perfect and had to fix it.

I'm simply saying, for me, a computer hardware junkie, it's worth my time to do everything myself (even if I decide I'm worth $100/hr), regardless of any pre-built brand
