There are companies that make a turbo setup that replaces the mufflers on the back of the car. They claim to have the turbos tuned where there is very little lag and being as it is all out back there is no engine bay issues. Saw a show where they put one on a corvette. Real clean setup. I think it was Horsepower TV on spike. They seemed to be rather impressed. Just a thought.
