I'm probably one of the few that had a subframe mount go out on my '93 190E that I purchased new. The right rear front one went out and it made a very weird sound and clunking noise when taking off and accelerating.
My wife came home from work one day and told me about the problem. I had her take off while I looked at the right rear wheel and I could see movement. I jacked up the car and looked at the bushing....it was cracked and had sepertated.
I replaced it myself and no problems since.
