I replaced the starter today and had a very hot white Mercedes battery. With the first crank, it sounded MUCH better......the starter was spinning much FASTER.
checked the injector lines at the injectors....not wet yet.....cranked some more......Then I had wet spots. Tighten the injector lines down....cranked some more....
and
then it happen. Next came to life.

It doesn't want to idle with my foot off the pedal, but once the cobwebs got blown out the engine sounded pretty good. The oil pressure was quite high. The Tach worked; then quit. Hmmmmm. I have to wonder if I blew a fuse. Maybe the alternator is not working as it seemed like the next series of cranks were weaker.
I got Next started about 3 times. Huuu Ray!
