A friend of mine has a 1985 300 Turbo Diesel and has a problem with the car downshifting. The car shifts fine manually up, but when downshifting the car manually, it will not drop to S or L at any speed, unless you are almost stopped. Is this a vaccuum problem, or an internal tranny problem???? I did the search and did not find anything close to what I was looking for. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
