sure to keep a close eye on your oil levels. My current project had a rod knock on number five due to lack of maintenance on the oil cooler hoses. On the up side I purchased the car for $400.00 because of this. I say had...it finally broke the piston in half, destroyed the rod jornal and connecting rod and poked out under the oil filter. Only 171k on the motor....died too young because of the hoses. I'm taking the hoses to a local shop to have new lengths of hose crimped onto the tubes since this will be cheaper than the mercedes ones. Anyplace that carries hoses and such (dunno if EVCO is national or not) should be able to do it.
