Police harrass MERCILESSLY, those driving old retired Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptors.

They call their drivers "Whackers" --- wannabe police, probable child (and female) would be kidnappers is how they view them.

see www.crownvic.net and www.officer.com for more.

I am not kidding about this. It is true. That said, the CVPI is a very good used car so long as you don't get a dog unit (Louvres on the hood) and a vomit comet (regular city patrol unit that had perps in the back)

Best ones are the unmarked take-homes, Captains and detectives and supervisors units, that have never been on patrol service, and had only one driver and no extended idle time on the engine.

Best of the best are the Street Appearance package, the rare ones painted in non metallic pastel, all CVPI heavy duty and high performance police equipment but look like an ordinary car. Smart money buys a low mileage one of those.

Very very hard to find and were unavailable to buy new by civilians
