Does it do this when the engine is cold as well as warmed up? Mine does
the same thing sometimes but the coolant is warm so I'll to look at that.
I don't know what it means but nevertheless...I've been chasing up the blower motor resistor tree but I'm not sure. I put a new/used blower motor in my 90 300TE and it worked fine for 8 months...now it has displayed the reluctance to engage its' duty. Although, on occasion, it will fire right up and act like somebody...but now that I think about it, it is always when the climate control was left on (in hope that it would work) when the car was shut off and then upon restart the blower would come back on, sounding just fine...as if a miracle....then the next stop/start time...nothing!! It's still happening so stay in touch on this one....
