I get home, decide to check it....it is not metric thread! So I called autozone, and the guy on the phone knew what I was talking about, and I was able to pick one up from their store with 0 issues right away. Autozone wins, NAPA sucks. To be fair, Autozone gave me the wrong brake lines on their first attempt (different store and different person).
Every now and then there's a counter person that knows their stuff, but most don't....

I've had a lot of luck at the local NAPA, and usually none at the Pep Boys and Autozone. The latter two are usually a crap shoot ... sometimes you get someone really helpful and knowledgeable, other times you get someone who looks at you like you're speaking to them in German. The NAPA here, however, seems to be all knowledgeable guys ... it's small and has a much more personal feel. They've always gotten the right parts for me and given me good (as far as I can tell) advice. Only time I had a problem was when I ordered rear calipers for the 240D, I got two left ones, twice ... but that was the supplier's mistake, not theirs.
