I have had two opportunity's to drive it since the "INCIDENT" and it hesitates at any speed while sending out a puff of white smoke after it recovers from the hesitation.
Its about an inch of peddle that does it. Like I said in the 1st post, the wingdings soaked the wire harness that goes near the filter housing were the cover is warn away to were the ind. wires inside are exposed. I wonder if something is shorting out in the electronic idle circuit? Not knowing the actual workings of that system makes me poke in the dark!
I may take some blue shower electronic wash and try to clean up what I can if someone chimes in to tell me I may be on to something. I am forced to take the thirsty JEEP to Santa Fe today as I really don't want to push the old gal until I figure this out.
I DID drop er off at the offending shop and after two days I got "TAKE IT TO A BENS SPECIALIST" LOL.....Cross them of my REFER to list!
