What does gay sex (in the past before IVF came along), abortion and "Jerkin the Gerkin" have in common? NO KIDS. Follow the logic. No kids = smaller herd. Smaller herd = smaller group of believers of sad faith. Smaller group of believers of sad faith = less political clout and more susceptibility to being wiped out by bigger group. When a religion starts out, they are a small cult. As such, they want to grow. You "Jerkin the Gerkin" or having homosexual sex or having an abortion isn't helping to grow the herd, is it?
The religious groups give big bucks to the Reps and they want their money's worth. Kinda like the gay groups gave votes and money to the Dems and they too want their money's worth. If you disappoint me, I might just decide not to help you in your career Mr Congressman.
